Wonderful flower boxes can be found all along Rainbow Row in Charleston… these are on the southernmost house. The tree with the strange looking bark is a Crepe Myrtle.

Pilots Pier
With all the container ship and other maritime traffic in and out of Charleston Harbor, the Charleston Branch Pilots Association is busy guiding them safely. This is their home base at the foot of Waterfront Park.

White Point Garden
One of the most popular spots for both locals and tourists in Charleston, White Point Garden — located at the tip of the Charleston Peninsula — is full of history, cannons and beauty. But did you know that the notorious “Gentleman Pirate,” Stede Bonnet, and about 50 other outlaws were hanged there?

Gorgeous Gazebo
Centered in the middle of White Point Garden (not Gardens… no “s”) in Charleston is a beautiful gazebo built in 1907.
