A Cute Charleston Couple

These wonderful Charleston houses, also known as tenements, are located at the the intersection of Anson and Wentworth Streets. While joined together, they are distinctively beautiful. Built in about 1843 by  a bricklayer/mason following a fire in 1838, they were rehabbed in the 1960’s — which included removing the piazza of the house that fronts Wentworth Street.
