Just another Charleston house on just another beautiful Charleston day. This colonial era house was built on Meeting Street in about 1760. Interestingly, it rented by Lord William Campbell — one of the last royal governors of South Carolina.

Correction: The house rented by Lord Campbell is at 34 Meeting Street The one in this photograph was built in 1820 and was designed by the architect William Jay.
