This beautiful house on Tradd Street was built c. 1765 by one of the main sub-contractors of St. Michael’s Church. He was so good at building that the interior woodwork in his house, was reproduced in the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts in Winston Salem, North Carolina, as a representative of a Charleston room.
